MyChef was created in 2007 by founder Chef Francois Samson. Catering to the “gourmet appetite”, Chef Francois has prepared meals for many well-known celebrities including Beyonce Knowles, Tom Hanks, Bono and Jay-Z. He has also worked as a Private Chef for BC’s top entrepreneur – Jim Pattison.

3-star Michelin chef with 16 years experience

Chef Francois has traveled the world during his 16 years in the food industry, creating menus and meals in over a dozen different countries. He has served international elite customers aboard the most prestigious private yachts, and worked in many of Montreal’s best restaurants – Nuance, Toque! and Club des Pins. After graduating at the top of his class from culinary school at the Institute of Tourism and Hospitality of Quebec, Samson earned an exclusive apprenticeship at Restaurant George Blanc in Vonas, France – the “gold-standard” for chefs worldwide. Since settling in Vancouver, Chef Francois has worked for Lumiere and as a restaurant consultant.
